Big yellow eyes stared up at the boy as he flopped onto his hind legs and stared. "Meow." Which could have roughly translated to 'how may I help you?'. Kid spoke cat, yeah?
Door... poofy chairs.... door.... poofy chairs. He was torn. In the end he remained standing, figuring if the door didn't open and if he couldn't hear anything going on inside that he would just leave. But then the weirdest thing happened, which wasn't so weird at all considering it was Hogwarts and Professor's could turn into cats. Or at least, this one could.
The meow caught his attention, though he wasn't really sure he understood the meaning behind the sound. Was that a hello? A go away? Should he open the door?
"Hi, Professor Quigley," he replied, figuring he was making up this conversation as he went along. "Gotcha an apple," he added, holding the shiny red one out so that the kitty-cat-man-professor could see. Could they talk now? Like, PROPER talk now? Or did he have to meow as well?
...
This was awkward, was it not?
