Perhaps he should have walked back inside and tried this whole thing again because in the space of one night, the Gryffindor might have forgotten everything they'd accomplished. Maddox raised a brow at the boy's question. "Not if you're gonna ask like that." Honestly? Courtesy had been lost on this one.

"We'll try this again. I said good morning. This is the part where, out of courtesy, you return that greeting as opposed to contradicting it. Then, when I feel up to it, I will invite you in as this is my office and I have all right to not want you inside." Did he see where he was going with this now?
