Nicole walked outside of the castle and into the grounds for a change. She normally spent her days indoors, mostly reading, but the weather was good and as her father often advised her, she should enjoy some outdoor activities. She first thought about visiting more professors and staff members. However, a glance at the creatures in the barnyard changed her directions.
Feeling slightly awkward due to the absence of a book around her, the Ravenclaw walked into the stables. She expected to see horses, maybe some unusually big ones or invisible ones too, but not this variety of creatures. There were fairies, nifflers, and even the mundane flobberworms amazed her. Nicole paused in front of a gated stable housing a cute furball. It was named Bubbily. She bent down with a smile and stared at the creature while it hummed, then uncertainly waved at it. She hoped it understood it as a friendly guesture.
