"Leave me alone, Benny. I'm so sure one day I'll say something that's going to set you off too.'' Adi went silent as he flashed back to third year. "You should have done just that at the Willow two years ago.'' He was just going to stay here feeling sorry for himself, yeah?
Adi had laid down as Benny moved closer so when the Gryffindor had reached him, he was towering over his best friend. Even casting a shadow over the Hufflepuff spaid out on the ground before him. It was pretty clear that he was bothered and upset, even before he spoke any further. And then there was the first sentence that caught him off guard, saying something Adi had never before said to him. Not even when the other boy had been mad at him with Angel. Leave him alone?!
Speaking of that incident, it too was brought up and Ben was quiet as he listened and tried to make sense of it all. And trying not to let it get himself upset. This was all over AJ...not him...right? "But I didn't..." he said at first, trying to think of what he wanted to say. "And I'm not going to...not now nor ever." Didn't Adi get that without him, Benny was liable be completely on his own. Well maybe he'd still have Angel there. But still...Adi was the one that pulled him out of his shell .
