Well, he couldn't possibly keep track of everyone's names or what they were all up to. Exhausting, and pointless if he gained nothing out of it. "I'm Oleander, by the way," and you're not allowed to make jokes of his name... usually... but he did mess up hers.

Madeleine suited her, though.

The Hansel and Gretel scenario was brought up again by mentioning the culprit behind his change of plans. Candy. "Not all the time. How about you?" Considering she was tossing it away, then no, "Why are you getting rid of it?" And in this way. She could leave them for people in the Great Hall. It made perfect sense there.
