Puck was watching the doll carefully as it stopped throwing its tantrum. Something had to have been said right? Sure her ear was buzzing slightly from the sound of its screams – and well, she did notice the slight movement from near the doorway when the Professor was…well, moving his earmuff?
What had she said that made the doll quiet? She wondered and stood there for a minute. The doll’s words sort of cued her in to the premise of what it was asking for. She lowered her voice just so and spoke sternly. “Correct Screamerella, Professors have rights.” Puck was thinking maybe…maybe she had to go into the rights that Professors have?
“As…a Professor I would, and do, have the right to evict you from my class until such a time that you show not only me, but your classmates respect” sure she was reciting rights but she was also thinking about her actions and about the rights of Professors still…because really closets, being locked in closets was not right at all…right? “If you as a student continue to be rude and disrespectful I will act on my rights and privileges as a Professor and report you, the student, to the headmistress.” Merlin she sounded all official and boring and yeah, was this doll done with her rants.
“I have rights. Professors have rights.” She spoke, and then standing from her somewhat kneeling position she spun began to pace back and forth for a moment. “As a Professor I will not threaten to throw my students into closets Creeperella, you have my word. And as a Professor I will keep to my word.” She was making a promise to a doll? Or was she making an actual career decision?
“Professors…Professors have rights too…” if they had the right to threaten students that was something SHE would not accept at all. Nope. Not at all, she’d even go to the Minister of Magic about that one…threatening people wouldn’t garner their respect would it?
