Not that there was a lot to go over, but she hated when she was disorganized. Organization was her foundation to keep up with all she had to do. Well she as glad at least one of them was having a calm day, though her's wasn't all eventful just more tiring then usual.
Plans seemed to be fine, we'll meet in two weeks as planned. I have a few managers unable so I think the coach or owner might step in."[/b] She was very grateful that these owners took so much pride in their teams that they would step down to do manager work. "I haven't heard anything from Rebecca yet, but I'm sure I will soon." It wasn't like her to be quiet.
Pulling out a parchment she set on her desk. This is the agenda Benji and I have been working on for the meeting, once it's approved I'll send it out so they know a head of time exactly what will be discussed."[/b] Setting that aside she pulled out three trade forms. "Here at the trades. Doesn't seem like too much traffic in trading this off season. Doesn't seem like our tryouts have too many either, so it might be a quiet off season." She didn't mind the quiet off season though. "Alexia Chosen, hmm alright." She pulled out her notepad and made note of that. She'd have to do the retirement forms when she was back at her desk. Mariel nodded, her eyes falling on the papers Victoria had brought in. She doubted that they were too much out of order, even with her dropping them, but even if they were, she was sure they could quickly go through them. And good, the meeting seemed set up and ready to go. "That's fine, as long as they are all represented." Or at least the ones that had the worst offenders, but she was a little disappointed that certain managers wouldn't make the time needed to discuss important matters regarding their team. "Oh, I'm sure she'll be present," she added, fighting the urge to roll her eyes about Rebecca Maroon. "Wouldn't be like her to not loudly oppose our allegations." Or maybe she would boycott in protest. She could see either one, to be honest.
Her eyes found the parchment on her desk as Victoria pulled it out and she reached for it, pulling it closer. She nodded, green eyes skimming the contents, as her Division Manager spoke. She glanced quickly at the trade forms as she continued reading the agenda, looking up for a moment. "It does seem like a slower year.." She couldn't help but to wonder how much not having Quidditch at Hogwarts for two years now had hurt interest though that likely had little to do with the trades. "I suppose a few are better than none though." She continued reading the rest before scribbling her name at the bottom and sliding it back towards her. "Everything seems to be in order." Oh, yes.. Alexis Chosen. She picked up the memo a moment to read it before pushing it across her desk towards Victoria. "A scout for the team. Perhaps tryouts will be her first job for the team in that capacity." Or she'd find out soon enough how difficult it was to find new talent without the game being played at a certain school.
