It'd be very rude of him if Leo suspected the validity of his note, after all... after half a minutes search and some slamming of the drawers (Merlin, how MANY did this table have?), he could finally find a neat, empty parchment. His quill was ready, thankfully, so he quickly wrote a note for Leo to let Gabe to the Restricted Section.

"I didn't write down a specific book, but just that you have my permission to get potions books," he said, signed and folded it neatly. "There you go. Anything else? How was your summer?" Or was he in a hurry to start brewing?
