It was painful to admit that there were some things you COULDN'T learn from books...or some things you couldn't find in books. But maybe Gabe was just looking in the wrong books?

Anyway.

This conundrum brought him to Professor Quigley's door...in a move of desperation because there was a particular charm he wanted to look into. A NEWT level Charm, sure...but that didn't staunch Gabe's curiosity. It would be beneficial given this badge he had now...Eh. He honestly believed magic could make things easier if applied right...and...Well...Yes.

Also, the fact that Professor Quigley terrified him didn't deter Gabe in the least, so...with a knock on the door, the Ravenclaw waited. He just hoped the man had...forgotten about that terrible lesson...and had eaten plenty of apples....You know, so he'd be more compliant to help.
