The knock hadn't exactly been the loudest, not by any stretch of the imagination, making it perfectly easy to ignore; at first. The ultimate problem Maddox had with ignoring was the fact his ears were usually never wrong and students had this little habit of stopping by on the odd occasion. This of course, was something he'd gotten used to right about now and surprisingly, he didn't even sigh when he had to get up this time.

It was like a routine.

Not long after opening the door, he caught sight of a certain Ravenclaw appreciator of apples; one of the better behaved in that horrid lesson. "Good day Miss McGee." The box hadn't registered in his head as yet. Might have had something to do with it not being red, yellow or green.

"What can I do for you?"
