Cosgrach closed the door after him, and smiled at the boy in sort of a fatherly-friendly mixture.
"Welcome, Gabe," he said, "would you like to sit?" Even if he didn't, Cosgrach did, so he walked to his throne without really waiting for his answer and looked back at the boy.

Relaxing further, Gabriel nodded and finally took a seat; fingers idly latching and unlatching the metal clasp on his potion's journal. It was nice to see Professor Culloden again...and not just briefly to get his potion refilled. Gabe hadn't gotten a chance to talk to him about summer events.
There was a lot to catch him up on.
"Thank you, sir." He waited a beat, thinking about how best to present his request. It wasn't something accessible to him right now, as Gabe has SEARCHED the library for a recipe.
"I'm trying to challenge myself with a...very difficult potion. Nothing new." Flush.
"Sir....uh, do you think....I could....get access to the restricted section?"
