Cole smiled hearing her. It was true - it wouldn't matter where they were, as long as they were together. Wasn't that why he was slightly fidgety? Okay not slightly, but completely fidgety.

And then she directly asked him what was up. Cole looked down, his grey eyes shifting to anywhere that wasn't her eyes. Because it was hard. "I wanted to talk to you .." he started, bringing his hands up and holding hers in the middle of the table. "I have been thinking a lot about us .. and I can't stop" Breathe. Just breathe.

"I .. I love you so much, Alex" He said, finally looking in her eyes. "But this isn't enough for me" Because it wasn't.
