She swallowed at his words, at least she wasn't the only one who felt that way. That sounded so much better! She laughed softly at his words and "I like the sound of that much more, after we graduate, we see where we are and what's going on with our lives." There it was. A LAUGH! Much better than the sad depressing thing they were doing. He smiled as she moved into his arms and he held her tightly. "I love you Zoe," he said as he leaned his head against hers. Realizing what he said he cleared his throat. "I mean...you're my best friend after all." Yup...that's what he meant. Mmhmm. He shifted a little and moved his head to her shoulder with a sigh.
"Good. We need a plan to not get caught right away." And maybe she'd forget what he said. "Maybe we should make up a strategy in the room of requirement so no one else overhears?'
