He was winning the entire reunion. While her husband was off thinking about dark curses, Lilyan's mind wandered in the direction of their two children. It sort of killed her to leave them tonight, especially Jackson since he was only a few months old, but she had every confidence in Caterina's abilities to take care of them both, even if her boyfriend was there too. That was fine. Caterina was a good girl, the babies would be just fine.
Luckily for her, she caught him looking at her then, and abandoned her train of thought about babies. "Evander Bole." She started, patting his arm with her fingertips. "You're very quiet." Which wasn't unusual, but still worth pointing out. |
