Maddie honestly wouldn't know. She'd never had friends before Hogwarts so her knowledge on how prevelant milkshake meet-ups were was minimal. She'd take his word for it, this time.
"It's just so much FUN to correct you," She replied with a smirk. It was ANOTHER one of their things. The thing where Noel came up with these ideas and got exciteable explaining them and Maddie did her best to make sense of it all. It amused her very much, this aspect of their friendship. She was going to keep doing it, just so he knew.
"Is there a problem? Well-" She was SO tempted to say yes JUST to see what Noel Wallace would do. Sometimes it was fun to watch him squirm. He DID seem awfully happy right now, though. And when Maddie refused to participate he USUALLY got all huffy and quiet and weird and she COULD eat. He'd probably take the milkshake away if she gave him a hard time. THIS was a hard decision. ..."No, no problem. Just asking." Hunger won out. THAT and Maddie had never shared a milkshake-or any other drink-before. This was a first.
After taking a drawn-out sip, the third year glanced up at the Hufflepuff and asked, "So what are we supposed to be talking about?"
