She glanced around and back to the woman, "Is it always so quiet?" She had tried to get her own two children in once, but that didn't work out so well, which it was fine, her parents did a great job with them. "I'd like ot get your thoughts about things that could help get this place a little more well known and how as minister, if I would be elected, what we could work together with to help support this area."
She knew they had taken a hit not getting a department head and she hoped that wasn't the reason for the lack of attendance. Had it gone down hill since? She wouldn't think, she knew the other department heads were working well with the area, so that probably wasn't it. It was probably just an odd case to be so quiet. Oh well, this was slightly awkward seeing as how her boyfriend was running as well. "Mrs. Maroon it's a pleasure to meet you." she's heard that name before she just couldn't pin point where. "could I interest you in some tea or coffee? ... water?" It was nice of her to stop here and she was the only candidate to do so already well, besides Jamie but shes told him all her department problems back at his house so he didn't need to come here and hear it again. "Quit, no." the frown as inevitable on her face. "it's honestly been down hill since we lost Anthony, our previous department head and we weren't appointed a new one and no one was moved up." yes she was still hurt by that. she poured her soul into this place and to be overlooked was stupid. "Please have a seat." she walked around her desk and over to the seating area where adults sat waiting on their children. This could take awhile. "i could give you things for days that would help support us but im sure you don't have time for all of that." did she want something to drink? |
