That's why I'm against removing the magic carpet ban." Gift wrapped and tied with a pretty little bow. "So, ban brooms as well," Preston piped up, stepping forward. "Any visibility concerns posed by carpets could easily be said to apply to brooms." Any fool could fly their broom over the Thames and be filmed right this moment. Preston believed Carter's argument to be insubstantial.
Speaking to those gathered, he continued. "With careful regulation and monitoring, I believe that the carpet ban can be effectively lifted. We owe it to our community to seriously consider how that may come to pass. Scare tactics about muggle videos, which I believe most muggles would suspect to be a hoax, are simply fear mongering to avoid a robust discussion of the actual merits."
