Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | You two ^_^ ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ SPOILER!!: Silas & Archie :) Quote:

Although Archie 's next words made him sighs heavily. One day he'd grow up and be cool like Si? He was already growing up and he was already cool. He just couldn't see it. But Si did nod in agreement with the looking through photos business. "Don't bother with them just now. We'll walk up together in a bit."
Now back to Amur. Weird, albeit cute, little Gryffindor. Silas looked at her amused as she went through her list of points. He imagined her with a chart bearing bullet points for some odd reason. Heh. He nodded at each point and let her complete her spiel before speaking.
"You should sit down and catch your breath. These chocolate frogs came from you... therefore is not an apology from the offending party so that is null. I may not be much older than you, but I am wiser... besides you remind me of some one's little sister. It's pleasant. Oh and you're welcome to join us, right sweetie? And it's a pleasure, Amur." I mean like.... had he answered all questions properly? Were the questions done? Had they been questions at all? He felt inclined to give her answers to each anyway. Not in the cool way she had, but oh well.
Turning now to Archie he said, "This is the person who tried to stop me leaving the common room... apparently she feels so inclined to try and be peacemaker." Leaning in closer he whispered now, "Until Zander apologizes it won't change my mind though." Quote:

Admittedly he didn't have any actually on him, as chocolate tended to melt in his robe pockets and make a ton of mess. This Gryffie seemed to have a clever solution for this, however, and Archie raised an appreciative eyebrow as she showed him her sleeves. "Nice hiding place," he said with a nod. "And thank you for sharing." He didn't know any Gryffindors other than Si that would do that. He pulled the frog back towards him, and opened the box carefully. "Do you collect the cards?" He'd give her first dibs on it if she did.
Oh, and finger holding up was happening and to Si as a fourth year no less. If that didn't prove that the sorting hat was right with this girl's placement, he didn't know what was. This time last year he'd have been petrified of doing such a thing to an older student other than Eden or Si. Even now, he'd only be willing to do it for a very good reason. He followed along with her points, and then silently turned to watch Si's responses. It wasn't like he had anything really to add to proceedings until the last point anyway.
"Nice to meet you too, Amur," Archie said with a smile, squeezing Si's hand because he could. "Thanks for trying to keep the peace with Si, and he's right, you're welcome to join us. Though if we're gonna be here a while chatting and such, I should probably go retrieve those books I'd sorted out in the other room." He didn't want people acquiring them for themselves when he'd don't the work researching them. He took a moment to glance out the door to check the pile was still intact, as well to check who else was in the vicinity. "Don't worry about Zander," he dropped his voice in response. "I've got a couple of ideas." Sitting? She hadn't even thought of sitting. Truth be told, despite the fact that the two boys were sitting, she hadn't even noticed that there were sitting fixtures in the room. It sounded like a good idea.
She was halfway to plopping down cross-legged on the floor, her ankles crossed and her knees bent with her hands out to the side for balance when Mr. Pink Shoe's words froze her. She blinked at him rapidly, trying to collect and follow what the boy had just said. It was hard to tell what the boy meant or intended by his words, they were stated so casually, but Amur did feel the corners of her lips tugging down bit by bit.
Wait. Who was he calling sweetie?
Her attention skipped to the Archie as her mouth opened. She blinked, paused and shook her head. "No. I don't. I just like the chocolate." Truth be told. "And its hard to make people appreciate it if you take away half of it." Yeah, that wouldn't go over very well in most situations. People liked the cards almost more than the chocolate. She really couldn't be fussed.
Her eyes drifted back to the other one, and she let out of a huff of air, her initial reluctance swept away by the politeness that lingered in the room. It was decided, no harm had been meant. And apparently sweetie had not been directed at her. Interesting, but as long as it didn't sound like her grandma was in the room addressing her, she didn't care.
Letting her legs go slack, she plopped down onto the floor and affixed Silas with a thoughtful look. "I am an only child."
First and foremost, that had to be cleared up. She had no idea what the boy had meant by that comment, but she wanted to make sure that he knew she could handle herself and didn't need a shadow of a brother to hide in.
Secondly, "And I'm not a peacekeeper." Truth. She seemed to have a habit of creating more problems than keeping things peaceful, and that little habit led to her next point. "I fix things. Broken things. Not-that-yo're-broken." It was tacked on quickly, just in case he thought her rude. "Just...the situation seemed broken."
Still did apparently.
"And no gesture is null. No matter who it comes from." Yesh, why did boys have to be so stubborn?
