Walking into the office, Gregoire noticed right away all the books in here! This man either liked to read, or just surrounded himself with books to make himself seem smarter. The Snake was hoping it was the first choice, and not the latter of the two. If it was the latter of the two this man should be ashamed of himself! Tsk tsk tsk. Bad catman! Speaking of being able to transform into an animal...that's why Gregoire was here.
Taking a seat on one of the couches in the room, Gregoire began to speak. "Professor, I was wondering if you could teach me how to become an Animagus." That's the question that he needed to ask. Seeing how the other day in class, the man turned himself from a cat into his regular self, it became relevant that he was an Animagus himself. The Snake would've went to the Transfiguration teacher about this except the fact that he was in a bit of trouble with her AND Gregoire wasn't sure if she was an Animagus. He would've preferred to learn from an Animagus.
Speaking of which, it now made sense to him why there was a scratching post in here. And a fluffy pillow in the corner. Was this seriously how the Professor spent most of his time? In his cat form taking a nap, or scratching at the post? Well, that would explain why the room had an odor of a cat.
