At the moment he was merely speechless as he watched her gasping for breath. "Did... you run all the way from the tower to give me this?" he asked, still skeptical of her since she had been hanging out with the Spitting Prefect both times he had been... interacting with him. If that was what one could call such things. Pfft. "I wasn't hungry and was more or less asked to leave since I yawned. So..." Not more or less. He had actually been told to go to his dorm if he was tired. That was not conducive to wanting to get people in the mood to socialize typically. Or at least it had made Si feel more unwelcome than anything, although perhaps others wouldn't have felt as such?
Despite his words he took the chocolate frog and turned it over in his hands. "But seriously did you come all the way from the towers with this?" He was still stuck on that bit... because if she had that was pretty solid of her. And he even gave her a smile when she presented one to Archie. She was a cute little booger wasn't she? Giving Silas a sideways glance he smiled a bit wider. "No hard feelings? Between you and I? Why would there be? Look kid... I just kind of like to take my time to get to know people before I start talking a lot... or to watch people and enjoy the atmosphere until I am comfortable. I didn't mean to make YOU feel like I didn't like you. I simply don't know you well." Was that making sense? He was unsure.
Taking Archie's hand in his he gave it a squeeze. "I'm Silas McLaggen and this is Archie Ogden. It's nice to meet you..." he paused so she could tell him her name. Mhm. And no... he did not see this as anything other than THIS PERSON here giving him a chocolate... not that dreadful Prefect. Mhm. Quote:

For now, the Ravenclaw just watched their interaction curiously, especially the chocolate frog placed in front of him. People didn't usually yield chocolate frogs so readily - especially ones in a better state of condition than their peace offering counterparts. He nudged it back to her gently with the hand not held by Si, recognising her kindness but feeling undeserving of it. "You don't need to," he said softly. "It's yours. Or at least Silas'." Amur shook her head as she gulped in another breath of air, waving the smaller boy's return of the frog away with one hand as he other went back up her sleeve. "No...keep it. I have more." The edges of two more packets peeked out from the bottom of her sleeve, and then after replacing them she showed him the other two she had up her other sleeve. Yup. She was loaded and had no fear of being mugged.
Her attention returned to Mr. Silas Pink Shoes. "Firstly..." She held up one finger. "Didn't run.....just couldn't...catch up."
Nope. She had not run. She had just walked really, really fast. Fast enough to keep him in her sights. She would have called out to him, but until now, the only name she knew him by was Mr. Pink Shoes and well, that really wouldn't have done.
"Secondly," another finger popped up to join the first, "Not about hard feelings between us." She hadn't been offended by the kid at all. That wasn't the point. She was just here to try and smooth out the rough edges. Whatever the reason they had formed was not her business.
"Thirdly," another finger, "you're almost as young as I am..." So why was he calling her kid? It reminded her of her father calling her 'child'. Nope. Just, nope.
A fourth finger. "Fourthly, sorry for interrupting." Because as her breath was beginning to even out, she was starting to realize that she had interrupted something.
"Fifthly and finally..." the last finger popped out and she extended her hand to either one of them for a shake. "Amur Neverwinter....its nice to meet you...officially." And Archie, unofficially offically.
