Stuck inside with Sirius | *Splish-Splash* | bamBAM | ☁ Spooktacular ☁
Archie enjoyed Si's hair ruffling, despite the fact he'd spent a while this morning trying to get it to lay flat. "Course I have," he replied with a grin. "You make them look arty and cool, not like a scruffy kid like I look like in mine." Was that why Garrick wore suits all the time? Hmm. And yes, he did meant that Silas smelt nice, and was pleasing on the eye in general. "One day I'll grow up to be as cool as you, but for now the cute one works." No one expected anything of the cute one, did they? And then BAM! he could amaze them with his skills. Whatever those were.
He saw those blushes, yes he did...but more importantly he saw that smile. After seeing Silas in the mirror the other night, that smile meant A LOT. "I don't just say them, I mean them..." Archie said with a nod. "I left them in the dorm, because I didn't know if I'd find you and I thought I'd have enough to carry. You know what I'm like for books." Yes, he was fully aware they had only just got back to school, and he did have access to the HUGE Ogden library, but he wanted to read ALL the things. "I can go get them though, I thought we could sit in the tree house." He considered the tree house THEIR spot, it was where they met, after all.
Given Silas' blinking, Archie couldn't help but follow his gaze to...well, he wasn't sure who. An out of breath somebody though, and one that Si apparently knew. It didn't take Archie long to realise that she was a Gryffindor, but she couldn't be one of the prefects he'd mentioned, given she appeared to be smaller than Archie was.
For now, the Ravenclaw just watched their interaction curiously, especially the chocolate frog placed in front of him. People didn't usually yield chocolate frogs so readily - especially ones in a better state of condition than their peace offering counterparts. He nudged it back to her gently with the hand not held by Si, recognising her kindness but feeling undeserving of it. "You don't need to," he said softly. "It's yours. Or at least Silas'."
