He didn't really know how the photos of Kalla had come out, to be honest, and Archie blushed as he admitted it. "I only looked at the ones of us. Well, you mostly, cos they were the ones on the top. I thought you might like to look through the rest of them together?" He knew how much Si had liked Kallas dress. It was in his eyes, reflecting the lustre of all those pearls. As for finding him? "I didn't actually stalk you all the way from the tower, if that's what you're asking," Archie answered with a wink, "Though I would have done if I hadn't had class this morning. I was already here doing some research and thought I recognised the figure hurrying past, s'all."
He was allowed to stay then? Good. Archie wasn't going anywhere right now without his Si.

That game however, left her huffing and puffing for breath as she rounded the corner into the room she had glimpsed Mr. Pink Shoes disappear into. Her feet halted before the rest of her body as she crossed the door's threshold, causing her to jerk to a stop like an off-balance bobble head. She blinked for a moment between the two boys, one she had never seen before with his arms encircling Mr. Pink Shoes. She blinked again, words absent as she sucked in precious air.
Mr. Pink Shoes hadn't struck her as one who enjoyed close company, with the two brief interactions she had held with him previously, but it wasn't her place to judge. Physically, he looked perfectly squishable, almost like a pillow, so it was that logic that she settled on.
"This....is for you...from the party." The words came out between breaths as she placed the chocolate frog she had been trying to give him down in front of the two boys. The package looked rather sad, deflated and crumpled from her trying to keep a hold of it as she had booked it after him. "You missed...some good...food."
But that wasn't very fair, was it? Couldn't give one boy something and not the other. So, still inhaling deeply, Amur withdrew a second, happier looking frog from her sleeve and placed it in front of the other boy.
Once her duty was done, she straightened and let out a heavy huff of air. "No hard feelings then, right?" This was a peace offering, unoffically unknowingly offical from Zander. And how could anyone refuse a chocolate frog peace offering?
Silas happily returned the hug and ruffled Archie's hair playfully. "
Well dressed? Have you not noticed the tatty old jeans I've been wearing about under my robes? Well dressed. Bah!" In all actuality Archie's words made him feel good and may have made his ears burn red a bit. And seriously? Well groomed? He was not even sure if that was a compliment or what. Ha! Maybe it meant he smelt nice. He could deal with that. "
And you're definitely cute." Super cute.
"
Oh..." Now Silas was blushing very heavily and smiling softly. "
You make me happy when you say such things." And he knew Silas hadn't exactly been happy since he landed back in the castle. "
And of course we can look through them together. I would very much like that. Have you got them with you now or have you left them in your dormitory?" Either way he would look through them with Archie...
And wow. Okay... There was actually someone following him... And she appeared to be quite out of breath...
Hearing the footsteps of someone he looked up in time to see the bobble head business and blinked at her several times. And she had a chocolate frog? Weird? At the moment he was merely speechless as he watched her gasping for breath. "
Did... you run all the way from the tower to give me this?" he asked, still skeptical of her since she had been hanging out with the Spitting Prefect both times he had been... interacting with him. If that was what one could call such things. Pfft. "
I wasn't hungry and was more or less asked to leave since I yawned. So..." Not more or less. He had actually been told to go to his dorm if he was tired. That was not conducive to wanting to get people in the mood to socialize typically. Or at least it had made Si feel more unwelcome than anything, although perhaps others wouldn't have felt as such?
Despite his words he took the chocolate frog and turned it over in his hands. "
But seriously did you come all the way from the towers with this?" He was still stuck on that bit... because if she had that was pretty solid of her. And he even gave her a smile when she presented one to Archie. She was a cute little booger wasn't she? Giving Silas a sideways glance he smiled a bit wider. "
No hard feelings? Between you and I? Why would there be? Look kid... I just kind of like to take my time to get to know people before I start talking a lot... or to watch people and enjoy the atmosphere until I am comfortable. I didn't mean to make YOU feel like I didn't like you. I simply don't know you well." Was that making sense? He was unsure.
Taking Archie's hand in his he gave it a squeeze. "
I'm Silas McLaggen and this is Archie Ogden. It's nice to meet you..." he paused so she could tell him her name. Mhm. And no... he did not see this as anything other than THIS PERSON here giving him a chocolate... not that dreadful Prefect. Mhm.
