Good, the trap was almost set. Just a few more moves, and the lion would be in checkmate. Granted it might not go the way as planned, but hopefully it would. With his free hand still on his wand Gregoire silently said
"Oui, I promise. Je promets de ne pas faire a nouveau." (I promise not to do it again.) There, was the Gryffindor happy now that he had promised not to do it again. Like he said...he promised he wouldn't do it again. But he didn't promise he'd walk away right after this. Let's see if this fifth year was as smart as he was flirtatious.
