"Simply not true," Archie said, giving Si a knowing look before wrapping arms round him in a hug. "You're the handsome, well-dressed and groomed one. I'm just the cute little one." He gave a little chuckle; he rather liked being the cute little one these days, now he knew how to use it to his advantage.
He didn't really know how the photos of Kalla had come out, to be honest, and Archie blushed as he admitted it. "I only looked at the ones of us. Well, you mostly, cos they were the ones on the top. I thought you might like to look through the rest of them together?" He knew how much Si had liked Kallas dress. It was in his eyes, reflecting the lustre of all those pearls. As for finding him? "I didn't actually stalk you all the way from the tower, if that's what you're asking," Archie answered with a wink, "Though I would have done if I hadn't had class this morning. I was already here doing some research and thought I recognised the figure hurrying past, s'all."
He was allowed to stay then? Good. Archie wasn't going anywhere right now without his Si.
