It was the very start of term things and Zander Adair wanted to see his Potion's Professor. Wait no, that wasn't right. He didn't really want to see the Professor, per-say. Who in their right mind wanted to go see a Professor?! ~~Unless they were beautiful and also your soulmate.~~ But no, no one should want to go see a Professor at the beginning of term, especially not if it was about school things. Especially not then. Though, Sophie Brown was probably the one sane exception to this rule.

But right. Anyways. He was here to see Professor Culloden. Not because he wanted to. Not because he had to. But because he was trying to actually get his life together this year-- a plan which, by the way, was completely failing ALREADY. But Culloden didn't need to know that. In fact, Zander was trying to look as particularly well-put-together as possible.
