Surprised that he'd been called out for it, but then not so much because this was a GIRL and they somehow existed to make him uncomfortable, Gabriel flushed even harder. No, he wasn't answering that...because how would he even begin to? Girls just...made him feel embarrassed...and lame. He had no theories...It had just been accepted after a long period of time.
Trying to smile through it, which was a very small success (since he hadn't grimaced, at least), Gabe wrote something else down in his notebook. He was mainly setting it up to document his findings for the evening. Focusing on the Astronomy. NOT ON ANYTHING PERSONAL.

With her comment on Saturn's rings, he latched onto the subject; allowing it to distract from his discomfort.
"Saturn actually has...at least thirty named rings...but they're....discovering smaller, more difficult to see rings...all the time." Nbd. It's why he personally found Saturn so fascinating. It's ring system was unmatched, as far as complexity.
