It didn't interest him. Simple enough. Neither vegetables nor plants, his sister was the one who lived up to their name, he didn't care. Oleander was perfectly fine knowing plants existed and others took care of them for him. Seemed like a perfect world that way.

What he didn't mind was walking...

...and he'd been absentmindedly walking around until he reach a point--you now what? Truth is the exercise was too much for him and he needed a break. The excuse of being lost in thought was ultimately deceiving. "You look out of place...," he pointed out to the Ravenclaw boy who looked like he belonged here as much as he did.

The difference is that the boy looked rather suspicious. Quite frankly, everyone who ended up here was suspicious-looking. Narrowing his eyes ever so lightly, he wondered if the boy's reasoning mirrored his own.
