And just as he began to turn his head around to check the area-- Wait a minute! Was this the end of the corridor already? Oh. He had walked even farther than he had thought. Now uh, what was he saying again....?
Eh, probably wasn't that important anyways.
Right. All his thoughts were starting to sound all blurry and redundant and hard to remember because he had been walking around for AGES and Agatha was yet to be seen. Remind him to give that Aegis kid a good talking to about vague-ery one of these days. 'Cause, not cool. It was as he turned the corner when he started having thoughts about turning around and heading back up to the Common Room. He had already walked all the way down a whole mountain load of staircases. How much of the castle was even left at this point... You know?
And just as he began to turn on his heel, he noticed those ever familiar locks of hair-- granted they were normally being flipped, but he still recognized her. Giving her an uncertain smile as he approached, and even opening his mouth to say a 'hello', when oh. 'Took you long enough'... Well that was quite the greeting, "Uh.. Sorry, your..." What had the boy called himself? "Gopher didn't tell me exactly where to find you," that's right. A gopher. But not an owl? Why a person would rather be a gopher was beyond him though. Anyways, could she at least give him a little credit for that? And waaaaait, she was the one who wanted to see him, how come she was being so... So... Agatha? Oh right.
On to the actual point here.... She didn't even say congratulations... But even so, he had one of those, 'WAIT I'M A PREFECT?' moments before he looked down at his badge for the fourteenmillionth time that day. Oh yeah. Forgot it was there. "Oh, uh-yeah.. Yeah I am," .... Is this all she wanted? He had climbed down so many stairs. And she just wanted to confirm that he was a prefect? "Does that mean you're going to stop giving me funny looks all the time?" You know, now that he had the badge and all. Would she stop talking to him as if he had a grade 3 reading level and looking at him like he had three too many heads? Then again, it was a lot to ask for. She was Agatha Hapgood, after all. Pfffft. Gopher. Well. She admited it was funny deep down. She thought House-elf was a better title, though, but those were annoying at times. Actually... "'House-elf' suits him better."
There Zander was, doing that thing again which made him look like he had no clue what was going on. Morgana, she wondered what was going through professor Flamsteed's mind when he picked Zander to be their house prefect. Although it did make sense, Gryffindor was the house of weirdos so they needed a major one to lead them, she guessed. "Good for you." She said, narrowing her eyes the slightest as if studying him. 'Does that mean you're going to stop giving me funny looks all the time?' The Slytherin raised one eyebrow at him. "I don't give you funny looks, Zander." Weirdo.
But whatever, she had no time for this. "You'll do me a favour." She told him as she held her bag up and started looking through some things in it.
