Make out? Pleeeeeeeeease. It was just a kiss, a thank you kiss. Just because sooooomeone clearly wasn't getting any action. Ugh. Here was Trollaire again trying to make her feel terrible. Ruby did too respect herself even thought the Transfiguration professor constantly insisted otherwise and constantly tried to tear her down and make her feel bad about herself. Ruby Banner carried herself just fine. Plenty of pride here thank youuu, Bellaire. Nobody could deny that. And besides, why was a harmless kiss supposedly as bad as fighting and this disrespecting the ghost thing that she was on about? AND she'd worn proper boring uniform and everything! Didn't she get some of those mysterious points for that?

Ugh. This was the worst. Maybe she should've dropped out after all. After everything that had happened over this Summer, she couldn't handle another term of abuse from the professor like how the previous term had begun. Who cared that she'd been let back in under special circumstances despite technically failing all her OWLs? It sure wasn't seeming worth it right now.

She shot a little look at Grayson since he was sitting next to her and happened to be the only one who knew how much things with Bellaire had got to her last term. And it was happening again apparently.

... but she stayed quiet. No sass from Ruby,not after the Summer, but she kept her chin up and her gaze steady and unapologetic. No way would she admit she did a single thing wrong.
