Huh, Maddox hadn't actually thought to ask the Defense Professor. Why would he? Hexes, jinxes and curses didn't leave him half cat, it was transfiguration gone wrong so here he was...though he would consider asking her if this didn't pan out--only then, just in case.

He would admit he wasn't expecting her question though...

Maddox gave a hopelessly confused shrug. "I don't know...I didn't think you needed a reason, us being colleagues and all." Though he was beginning to think that didn't mean much to her with the way she'd corrected him earlier. "I guess you'd help because I'd be grateful after?"

He didn't KNOW. No one told him he needed to come with some sales proposition of sorts! "What do you want for it?"
