Damien had considered changing, not into those ugly robes, no, no, no. He was not even remotely going near those hideous, shapeless things. Rather, he’d considered putting on a summer suit, but had decided his white dress shirt, tapered jeans and chucks were nice enough for the casual party amongst his new peers. The room was so Red and Gold that for a second Damien couldn’t see anything but the colors.

Thankfully, his blue eyes adjusted and after a minute or so the boy was able to see the party and it’s attendants properly. There were two older people, a man in a very nice suit and a beautiful brunette that Damien probably shouldn’t have been eyeing, but eh, kind of was – He knew they were teachers and clearly they were aligned with Gryffindor, but he didn’t know anything else. – There was Puck, hard to miss the effervescent brunette, and Nemo, and…. He recognized some of the others from the feast, but Damien didn’t know their names or anything.

Oh, and Bianca was there, he hadn’t had the chance to talk to her at the feast, which had been a shame, ‘cause she was cool, really cool. He’d say hello in a bit, first he wanted to get at those marshmallows before the vanished….

And it was while he was eating that he noticed the suited man was wearing… A harness? And was that….
