“On the count of three, we’ll open the gifts,” Adi mused as they handed over identical sized boxes.
Benny nodded in agreement to the Hufflepuff’s suggestion. It certainly seemed the fair way to do it. “One…two…three…” The best friends tore into the Christmas wrapping to reveal what they had given each other. When the paper settled down, they couldn’t help but laugh at the final outcome.
In each boy’s hand was a pair of new socks; red dragon ones in Benny’s and golden hippogriff ones in Adi’s.
“Great minds think alike,” the Hufflepuff said as they erupted into more laughter.
