Janelle laughed at Adi's description of Margo. Hyper was a bit of an understatement. Not to mention the fear of water thing. "Why would Margo think I wouldn't want to be her friend? I'll try to get over to the Hufflepuff table before the feast is over. Then Janelle thought about it for a moment. "Are first years allowed to leave their house tables?" Wouldn't want to start the term on a bad note.

Janelle hoped that Adi was right. She wanted to make lots of friends at school. She probably should get started with the people right at this table. From now on, she was on a mission.

OK, so she did know Jasmine. That would explain the funny looks. "Yes, Jasmine is my sister. She's doing fine.......on her way to the university in a couple of days. I'll tell her I met you when I send her an owl."

Oh, she would have another chance to meet her housemates in the Common Room. Cool. "Jasmine mentioned the riddle thing to me. I am not looking forward to that." What if she wasn't able to solve the riddle and got stuck outside the Common Room? That would be bad. Well the Sorting Hat put her in Ravenclaw for a reason, even if Janelle wasn't sure why. Hopefully she could figure it out.

"What's the best part of being in Ravenclaw, to you that is?" Janelle supposed that the answer to that question was different for everybody. She would have to figure out her own answer.
