Hogwarts RPG Name: Nicole Madeline Holloway Second Year | SPOILER!!: Kate :) Quote:

Kate noticed a transparent figure floating nearby and looked over to see their house ghost. "It's the Grey Lady!" she said to those she'd been talking to. Kate had heard about her and was all sorts of excited that the ghost had come out to greet them. "Hello," she said to her. Nicole looked up from her book to see her new friend - new Ravenclaw friend - greet her. "Hi, Kate," she said with a smile. "Yay, it did! I'm really excited to be a Ravenclaw with you," she said, remembering their conversation on the train about the sorting. She could not believe her sorting experience was now over, but the thrill had yet disappeared as she anticipated the journey about to unfurl in the future. "How was your boat ride to the castle?" she asked. Nicole wanted to know everything about the firstie boats. It was one of her wishes to ride the boat herself, but it did not work out well because of her being homeschooled. SPOILER!!: Grey lady :) Quote:

She turned to look at the lady Kate was talking about. She was transparent and floating at the center of the table near them - she was a ghost. More precisely, she was the Ravenclaw house ghost. Glad that she had not freaked out at seeing a ghost for the first time, Nicole jumped as the Grey lady spoke directly to her.
She looked down at the book she was holding. The lady was right, she should not have been reading during a feast. The girl closed the book, not forgetting to stick her bookmark in the correct page. "I'm sorry, ma'am," she said, blushing. "I'm Nicole. Nice to meet you," she introduced herself. If she were to socialize with her fellow Ravenclaws and build new friendships, she supposed she could do so with her house ghost.
