"Well the it's nice to meet you Dalton." She smiled flashing her teeth yet again.
"This is my first year at Hogwarts. I'm so excited to be going, we weren't sure if I'd get to after what happened with my brother." Oh darn!!! She mentioned her brother again. Didn't her father tell her to leave it alone! But he wasn't here, neither was her brother so none of them could yell at her for it!
Margo turned and smiled at Dalton. "Your first year to?" She asked him, hoping to maybe get a smile out of him at the very least.
"Yeah." About the nice to meet you thing - Dalton hoped that sufficed as a response, because he wasn't going to lie and say he was glad to meet her, too, and he wasn't going to be rude and let her know that he didn't care, either. He was just going to go with it. Following her into the compartment, he didn't pull the door completely to, leaving it open slightly.
God, she was a smiley individual. "My first year, too." He managed, and while he didn't smile, his face relaxed a little and he stopped scowling. At the mention of her family, he couldn't help but frown a little bit, and a slight hint of curiosity overtook him. "Why, what happened to your brother?"
And he wasn't going to apologise for being nosey - she'd brought the subject up.
