The train had pulled into the station finally and the four friends weren't going to be slowpokes about getting aboard. The quicker they started, the quicker they could get to Hogwarts and the fun began. Though it only just seemed that that was the case. despite the fact that the barrier always locked at 11am anyway and they left not a second before that in case of stragglers.
Dropping off his trunk with the rest, Benny followed along bringing Conrad with him rather than leave him back. The owl was getting fussy as years passed. A few steps behind the couple, when he got to the door it was to the two of them looking quite comfy together. "Well don't let me interrupt," he mused as he entered the compartment himself, setting the cage in a free spot and getting a questioning squawk from his familiar.
"Only if you promise not to fly too far," he quietly added to the owl as he unlatched the cage door and Conrad flew out to take a perch on top of the baggage shelf by the window.
