As Dalton approached the measuring area, he sent a rueful glance in Aleds direction. The other boy was far too busy being nosey at absolutely everything and everyone to give much more than a thumbs up back, but even this went unnoticed - by now, the tape was measuring his height.

The eleven year old was totally wigged out by this whole situation, and tried as hard as possible to keep his eye on the tape measure, causing him to contort his body as the strip zapped around him.

Why did they need to know how big his neck was for a wand?
