Once she had it fixed she continued to the door. Turning and knocking, hoping her friend was in. She adjusted her bag on her shoulder and smoothed down her skirt. She knew MLE was one of the busiest departments, so she didn't want to interrupt if something big was going on. She just hoped that she had come at the right time. The department was always busy, if it wasn't then they weren't doing their jobs right... but today, they were doing it a little too well. After a morning filled with meeting after meeting after review and trials, she was finally free to skip her lunch and coffee break and get stuck into the administrative work that had snowballed in her office.
With a stack of files in the crook of one arm, and a pocket watch device in the other, Emily marched down the corridor, only looking up when a figure was sighted in her peripheral.

Shoving the watch in her jacket pocket, Emily put on a smile and offered the woman a nod.
"Vic, to what do I owe the pleasure?" she asked, knowing full well they didn't have a meeting booked.
Emily disarmed the wards on her door and let it swing open before waltzing in ahead of Vic. Was she coming too?
