Harper was nearly bouncing as he stepped into Ollivanders. After years of having to make do with a stick when he was pretending to be a great wizard like Merlin he was now going to have a real wand. One of his very own! It was so very grown up to have a wand.

He was less excited about the crazy measuring tape. Harper couldn't be sure, but he didn't think the circumference of his head was something they needed to know to give him his wand. He also wasn't sure why height was important. Still he simply sighed and put up with the attacking tape, waiting for it to finish so that he could get to the good part. The wand waving.
