The plan was to sit nearby and watch Fletcher work like the hot guy he was, her presence must be like a lucky charm now that she was his girlfriend, right? RIGHT? She heard someone else say it, and she was absolutely sure she was oozing good luck right now.

But after five seconds, she got bored. With all due respect to Fletcher and the customer lady, deeply engaged in a conversation, but Jessa stifled a yawn and started investigating the things and tools on the small table next to them. Oh, ekh, what was that thing that smelled? She crunched up her nose and wiggled the two fingers she touched it with to get rid of it, ekh. But it didn't go off so she subtly wiped them off on the pretty, clean table sheet. Ahem.

That was until she saw two girls who just got here. MORE customers? Ugh, nooooo. Jessa jumped up to them with a too bright of a face, and talked to the nearest of the two. "Hiii! Welcome to the...." She eyeballed the tent quickly. "... tainting--I mean painting Tent!" She made up for her slip in smiles and warm eyes. "How can I help you? I'm at your body's service." Piercings and face painting were allowed, henna tattoos were not. Okay? Okay. Beam.
Jus looked at the young woman, taking in her cheery smile that was just a it too bright, the ditzy behavior and the slip up in words. To anyone else, the act would have been subtle enough to pass unnoticed. But, Justine Janvier was practiced when it came to lying; and a liar can always spot another.

She smiled coolly, her posture straightening and bringing her to her full height. “Excusi-moi?” The French accent fit like an old glove; comfortably and easily. “Oh, oui! My friend and I vould like two henna tattoos, sil vous plait?” Justine haughtily said, flipping back her thick hair.

The Canadian had no idea why this girl was lying or about what, but she couldn’t help replying in kind.
