She shook her head to answer the 'have you been playing' question, though perked up just a little at the mention of joining a recreational team. She'd never thought of that. "I bet you're still loads good at it, actually. Maybe even better than some people on a recreational team." Ella had been a captain and had played for her whole time at Hogwarts, after all. At least Penelope assumed that second part. So she was probably still good at it.
It was funny to hear Penelope so confident about Ella's skills considering the blonde had always felt she paled in comparison to the others playing at Hogwarts. She appreciated her words, though. It made her smile at the former Gryffindor.
"Maybe. You think there are lots of those around?" Recreational leagues, she meant.
"If so, you should join too. We'd be really competitive with you on the team." Just saying.
Quidditch aside, the twenty year old was curious about what Penelope had been up to. She'd always liked the younger girl but she hadn't seen much her since graduating which was sad.
"How are things with you? Besides the whole missing Quidditch thing."
