Tima was nervous and he was never nervous. Not when it came to music anyway. He was sure and steady and strong with music. Especially the piano, he'd been playing since he could remember... So that didn't explain why his heart was beating so fast he almost felt light-headed from the speed it was pumping his blood. He needed to get over this. He was honestly thankful to have this opportunity. It was amazing to be able to play something like this festival; especially in Britain instead of his native Russia.

That didn't mean that his friends and family hadn't flocked to the UK to support him though; a few even rearranging their schedules to support him; just like he had done for them over the years. Igorek and Viktoriya looked proud enough to burst; and they had nothing on his mother Yuliana. Sasha, Ana, Kenzie and Kai were standing close by Toriya as close to the front of the crowd as possible, and his heart slowed slightly. They were here because they loved, trusted and supported him. They wouldn't travel from Russia, Ireland and Germany if they didn't believe that he could do this. Right? Right. So there, panic attack - take that. He was a fantastic musician and he would rock this concert.

He jumped on the spot a few times to try and shake off the rest of his nerves as he saw the announcer move up the steps to welcome the masses to the start of this Summer’s festival. With a grin, he started to feel the adrenaline pumping and that meant he was losing his nerves. Perfect. Just in time too, as always. With a large grin on his face, he jogged up the steps to the main stage as his name was called.

With arms spread wide, Timofey waved to the crowd who were already surrounding the stage. He moved past the piano and the guitar to start with as he stood in the middle of the stage. “Good Morning, London!” He said loudly into the microphone that was around his ear. ”I hope you’re all enjoying your Summer and let’s hope the weather stays like this for the weekend! I’m Timofey, and I’m going to be playing some acoustic pieces for you over the while. I hope you like it!”

With his heart thumping, he moved over to the piano and sat down. As the first act, he had already made sure that the stool was at the right height for him. Perfect. His a smile on his face, he started to play the soft melody that accompanied his first song, and after the introduction he started to sing.

Dancin’ where the stars go blue, Dancin’ where the evening fell,
Dancing in my wooden shoes, In a wedding gown.

Dancin’ out on 7th street, Dancin’ through the underground,
Dancing little marionette, Are you happy now?

Timofey looked out towards the crowd as his fingers tapped insistently at the white and black keys of the instrument before him. His second foot was also tapping the ground keeping his time. He smiled into the mic for the chorus and wondered if anyone in the crowd had heard the song that he was currently covering; not only that, but he wondered if they would sing along.

Where do you go when you're lonely, Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely, I'll follow you
When the stars go blue, When the stars go blue

When Tima looked towards the crowd this time, he specifically found his Mamushka in the crowd. The well dress, regal looking woman looked out of place surrounded by the younger, more brightly dressed generations that surrounded her but she didn’t look like she cared at all. The smile on her face resonated and replicated the happy and proud smile she had on her face whenever she watched Igorek and Toriya dancing, and it made Tima’s heart leap that she was here to hear him play.

Laughing with your pretty mouth, laughing with your broken eyes
Laughing with your lover's tongue, In a lullaby

Where do you go when you're lonely, Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely, I'll follow you
When the stars go blue, The stars go blue, stars go blue

Where do you go when you're lonely, Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely, I'll follow you
When the stars go blue, The stars go blue, stars go blue

All of his nerves were gone as he blasted through one of his favourite songs. Sure, it was an older slightly slower song but he thought it was fitting for the first song of the day. Going straight to thrash-metal would likely just hurt everyone’s ears. Nope, he just wanted them to enjoy his performance and to not be boo’ed off stage. That would be nice. He’d enjoy the rest of the festival happy if that was the outcome of his set list.

Follow you, Follow you

When the stars go blue, When the stars go blue
When the stars go blue, When the stars go blue

Where do you go when you're lonely?, Where do you go when the stars go blue?

As Tima wrapped up the first song on his set list, he once again looked over the crowd. He could see up and down most of the street from where they had placed the stage and the amount of people in the streets were growing as the minutes passed. Yes, this would be a great weekend. He thought as he stood up and picked up his electric guitar. ”How about something with a faster tempo?,” the Russian man asked the crowd as he began to play his second song.
