Molly and Arthur
Molly sat stunned, exchanging a glance with Monty. Why did were they being taught this? Obviously they weren’t going to be casting them!
Arthur raised his hand.
“Yes?” Professor Gallow asked.
“What about the other Unforgivable Curses?”
Molly glared at him.
“Who knows what another one is?”
Someone raised their hand and said “The Cruciatus Curse, Professor. It is used to torture the victim, causing pain.”
“Five points to Slytherin. Does anyone know the incantation and wand movement?”
The Slytherin raised his hand again, confidently. “The incantation is Crucio, the wand movement is to point at the intended victim whilst performing the spell.”
Molly became fearful. Why were they being taught these curses? Obviously they were in the dark books, but if the Professors were just TEACHING them, surely that was making it easier for those who wanted to join you-know-who that much easier?
“Ten points to Slytherin, yes,” She said, encouragingly. She spoke about the effects of the curse, when it was created, and historically who had used it for their favour, and why. Molly didn’t want to listen. She wanted to walk out, actually. Was this Professor a dark witch?
