Flamsteed was HUGGING her? Since when did Professor Flamsteed hug people? He didn't seem to be bothered by the tears at all. He was telling her that there was no need to cry. Certainly not what she would have expected from Flamsteed. She might have expected such behavior from a Hullepuff or a housemate, but she never would have expected Professor Flamsteed of all people to be giving her hugs. This was not at all like Flamsteed.

They were going now. Penelope followed Professor Flamsteed.
