However, he wouldn't deny an internship because that'd be a pretty nice way to spend the summer actually. "Yeah, maybe. You might be right. I might just apply," kind of convinced now. Kace seemed like a big advocate of it and he already did an internship so he knew what he was talking about.
...... And just when he thought he was doing so well.
Of course no one ever believed his lies. Apparently he was miserable with them. Maybe Justine could teach him that too? How to lie. She seemed to know how to do everything.
But as for the questions.. "Well.... It's kind of a long story... Lux and I.... We-we aren't really talking?" he ducked his head down as soon as he said it. Kace and Lux were best friends. Even Zander knew that one.
Kace could tell by talking to Zander he seemed a bit off. His mind was wandering and he was completely thinking about something else. He didn't believe his act for a second but he was glad he could convince him to apply for internships. He had a little satisfied smile on his face. But now onto the real question and he was finally gonna get his answer. He heard Zander trail on and he used the long story excuse and he got that Lux and Zander weren't talking.
"Yeah mate I kind of got that....why didn't you tell me that before?" he asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"It might have made things less awkward?" I mean was he right or wrong? He saw him burying his head and Kace sighed.
"Mate Lux isn't the one to hold grudges. I mean I am sure you can talk it out with her.." he offered.
