As long as she didn't get too close....or say certain things. Otherwise, he was okay.....This...was okay.

Moving the bookmark just a little, he continued with the Jera!chanting. "Intaglio, intaglio, intaglio.......jera, jera, jera, jera......" Considering there was only two Jera runes to be seen in the set, Gabe shifted to the Uruz, now. These...were basically just two lines; very simple in the design aspect. One on either side of the first and last sowilo rune.

"Intaglio, intaglio, intaglio........uruz, uruz, uruz, uruz....." His eyebrows knitted together as the runes began forming on the copper surface. It was definitely more easy this go around. Practice did help.

.......and Clara seemed to be doing well with this. Good.....that was good. He wanted her to do well, yeah....

Clara looked up briefly to check on Gabe's progress - although she could guess because she could hear him - a smiled slightly because he was doing well, as she had expected. Herself ..... well, she was doing okay. Honestly, she would be struggling a lot if it wasn't for Gabe being a sort of 'example' for her. Ancient Runes definitely wasn't a strong subject for her.

Back to concentrating.

"Intaglio ... Jera, jera, jera, jera, jera ..." Clara carefully carved this rune, making sure to keep her wand steady. It wasn't going quite as well as she might have liked, but it was still going pretty well. "Intaglio ... Jera, jera ... jera, jera, jera ..." Hm. This was a very ... finicky task. Everything looked right but that by no means meant it was actually right. Clara was sure she'd gotten the right amount of runes, though, so she moved onto uruz.
