After going back and forth with himself, Gabriel had decided not to create his own Runic charm. Instead, it seemed more logical to utilize the preexisting one; having spent more time selecting an object than should've been allowed. Gabe didn't really own that sort of stuff...but then he'd gotten an idea....And like all of his other ideas, it was a rather inspired one.

See, he'd found this huge piece of copper over Christmas...and had already worked with it some; having made CB's Valentine's gift out of a piece of it. So, he knew it could be malleable...and it just so happened to be one of his favorite elements on the periodic table, thank you very much.

Anyway, the basic construction had been fairly simple. Gabe had melted it down, which had been the most difficult part, and then worked it into a flattened sheet...The trick was to manipulate it while it was still cooling...

Anyway, he'd been left with a bookmark....and he was planning to carved into it. Then, said bookmark could be carried around with him...

....and Clara was supposed to be joining him at some point. Gabe figured they always ended up at the same places with this homework business. It was best to cut out the surprise and just invite her to join him.....right? As long as she didn't get the wrong idea.
