 MS HW Post 3 The Last of Her Kind
Apparently it was okay, because she was now faced with the computer making a strange little 'ding' noise and opening up a window with a bunch of options. Adrienne sat down at the chair in front of it and poked the screen, before remembering that no, for computers they had to use this weird thing.
She glanced suspiciously at the mouse and then wiggled it, watching the cursor on the screen move in tandem. She was never going to get the hang of this. Ergh, and there were so many options. Adrienne had no idea what they even meant, but thankfully she'd copied over Professor Hadley's instructions onto a piece of parchment just for this purpose. She verified that yes, indeed, the resolution was 300 ppi - whatever that meant - but the type of digital file was a PNG instead of a JPEG. Seriously, what was the point of all of these letters? Adrienn shook her head, confused, but clicked on the little arrow thing anyway and changed it to JPEG. That was nearly it, right? Yes, and at least the scan button was easy to find. She pressed down hard on the left mouse button, clicking on scan, and voilą! Almost done now.
