Yup. He saw the quizzical looks that Kace had given him. But, see as a master of pretending to be all oblivious all of the time, Zander knew just when and how to avoid those looks with one of pure innocence. Mhm. See most of the time he was just being dumb, but a small fraction of the time he was just pretending to be dumb. Or maybe not. Eh, it was all really confusing actually, but at this moment of time he was completely and fully aware of all the questions that were probably on the older Hufflepuff's mind. But again, he played innocent. Pretending not to notice the looks. He didn't have anything to hide after all..... Just Lux and Cinna things but that was it.

The Gryffindor nodded slowly trying to focus in on what Kace was saying. It was actually proving to be a rather difficult task considering the thousands of things on his mind, but he nodded and looked intrigued none the less. "Oh? Yeah I can see how that'd be a bit boring staying with the old," But if Kace wanted to go into the sports kind of thing, wouldn't that shop be the best one for him? "Where else would you consider?" If he asked Kace enough questions, maybe the boy would even forget about what went down at the Greenhouse. It was a stretch, but a boy could dream, right? "And yeah... I-I reckon I may give it a go," he smiled earnestly. Actually, an internship didn't seem like such a bad idea after all.

The Gryffindor was still kind of bitter about the field trip thing, but still kept the smile on his face as he reached over to grab some chicken for his plate. And then the question Zander was waiting for all along. How come the Slytherin table? Uh. For a moment, Zander pretended to look very, very confused. "What? What are you talking about... We're at the Gryffindor table!" And then he did the whole mock-looking around thing. "Oh, I could've sworn--" Heh. "Are we not--" And then he shrugged. "Sorry, I guess I was really worn out by the homework and sorta picked the wrong table or something...?"
