As Charlene was taking off, Kace was getting nervous. He tightened his grip on her but he clicked his feet to let her know to fly. She understood and opened her wings and he saw her full wingspan. This was a new experience for him. Charlene was avoiding the trees like a natural. Good thing too, he didn't wanna be whacked by any tree branches. Those things hurt a lot. He had his fair share of being hit in the face by tree branches by his cousins. As he began to get use to the flying feeling, he began to take in the view. It was really gorgeous up here. But wait he was racing other people, he looked down to see how other's were doing. He didn't even see people near the finish line yet.
